The Keep It Hard program is designed to address issues related to erectile dysfunction (ED)—a condition where the strength of an erection is insufficient for a satisfying sexual experience. ED can be caused by various factors such as poor blood flow, hormonal imbalances, stress, anxiety, or unhealthy habits.
In our program, you'll learn how to tackle all these aspects to achieve the best possible results. You'll be guided through physical exercises aimed at improving blood flow to the genitals. Additionally, you'll explore psychological practices to overcome any anxiety related to ED. Lastly, we'll provide lifestyle tips to help you prevent future issues and maintain your sexual health.
Weakened Pelvic Floor Muscles
Among the many contributing factors, weakened pelvic floor muscles are one of the most common causes of erectile dysfunction. Strengthening these muscles through targeted exercises, such as Kegels — taught in our program — can significantly improve erectile function by enhancing the muscles' ability to regulate blood flow and maintain penile rigidity.
Studies and Evidence:
Effectiveness of exercises: Research has shown significant improvements in erectile function in men who performed pelvic floor exercises. These benefits were even greater when combined with lifestyle changes [
Grace Dorey et al., 2004]
Multiple confirmation: A comprehensive review of multiple studies confirmed that pelvic floor muscle training is an effective treatment for ED, showing notable improvement in erectile function compared to those who did not engage in these exercises [
Christopher Myers et al., 2019]
High success rate: According to the study, 87% of men experienced improvements in erectile dysfunction after incorporating pelvic floor exercises into their routine [
Pierre Lavoisier et al., 2014]
Psychological factors
Another key factor that can worsen erectile dysfunction is
a lack of confidence, anxiety and stress. Stress activates the body's "fight-or-flight" response, diverting blood flow away from the genital area to muscles, the heart, and other vital organs, making it harder to achieve or maintain an erection [
Mark S. Allen et al., 2023]. You’ll learn how to break negative thought patterns and overcome psychological barriers, helping you better support your physical responses.
Partner support is crucial in managing erectile dysfunction. Understanding and empathy from a partner can significantly reduce the psychological stress and anxiety that often accompany ED [
Li Hongju et al., 2016], [
J. Dean et al., 2007]. Open communication about ED can ease emotional strain on both partners, fostering trust and intimacy, and making it easier to tackle the issue together [
William A. Fisher et al., 2019]. For this reason, our program includes lessons and exercises designed for both partners to ensure a positive, lasting effect.
Hormonal balance
Testosterone plays a crucial role in male development and sexual function. It’s essential for sexual arousal and the ability to maintain erections. Low testosterone levels can lead to decreased libido and disrupt the mechanisms that support erections [
Jessica N. Schardein et al., 2022], [
Jack Barkin, MD, 2011]. That’s why our program provides guidance on key lifestyle changes to help maintain healthy testosterone levels naturally.
The first noticeable effects typically appear after about 4 weeks of regular practice. However, to achieve and maintain the full benefits, it’s important to complete the entire program.
